Many websites want content that will help the search engines pick them out from all the rest. This is where Search Engine Optimised articles come into play.
Is writing SEO articles difficult?
Not particularly, there isn’t any set structure or dynamic to a SEO article. There are of course right ways and wrong ways to do it though. This is what I will cover in this article.
If you need to write a SEO article for a client, there is no need to start panicking. Writing your SEO article will be no different to writing an ordinary article for your own blog. You may even be incorporated SEO writing without even realizing it!
What is a SEO article?
An SEO article is an article that has certain keywords related to what you are selling or writing about. So if you are writing an article about article marketing, this and other related keywords would be used throughout the article you are writing.
Getting it right from the start
It doesn’t matter if you're writing for yourself or for a client, the article will have to be a good one. The SEO article will have to make sense to the person reading it. A common mistake I see and asked to do for other people is to stuff an article with keywords that actually don’t make any sense. This makes the reader not want to read your article, thus making it a bad article and completely useless.
Some clients seem to think that it is better to write for the search engines… In my honest opinion, this is wrong. You need to write for the person who is going to be reading your article, not the machines, robots and search engines.
Choosing keywords
If you are writing your own SEO content, it is worth looking at the Google keyword tool. This will help you figure out what keywords are related to your content. If you are SEO writing for a client they will more than likely have a list already made up for you. They may even have a set number of times for each keyword or keyphrase to be added to the article.
So next time someone asks you to write a SEO article you know what they mean. You don't have to write any differently than you normally would. Write your article around the keywords and keep it as natural as possible!

The Google keyword tool will help you determine which keywords are searched for most often. So if you type in pregnancy, the Google keywords tool will show you a list of related keywords to the word or phrase you typed in. There will be a bar at the side of the words and phrases which tells you which are popular.
These are actual phrases and words that people reading the internet have searched for. So you know you are picking keywords that people are using.
